This is your chance to step onto the pitch at Oakwell Stadium on Saturday 27 June for free and be part of a day bringing people across Barnsley together through football, community and connection.

Barnsley Recovery Steps are proud to host this community football event in collaboration with Barnsley Council, Barnsley in Recovery and Barnsley FC Community Trust.

We’re inviting players to take part in two matches: an adult game and a special match where young people will take on youth workers.

Alongside the football, there will be entertainment, music, children’s activities, and stalls from local services and charities so people can learn more about support available in the community. A free lunch will also be provided.

• Young people’s match: 11.00am to 12.00pm
• Lunch: 12.15pm to 1.00pm
• Final match: 1.00pm to 2.30pm
