Joey was struggling with depression and anxiety for several years

Start of Treatment
At the beginning, Joey was having cocaine binges. Joey could have 10 bags of cocaine over 1 weekend.‎ ‎

‎Joey would consume more if he had alcohol and has stated that he would go missing for days when he was using cocaine
Physical Health

Joey had a fall and injured his elbow a few months ago and had to have a week off work. Since being abstinent from cocaine, he has been going on dog walks with his partner. He has also been looking into finding a hobby, such as golf

 

Mental Health

He has been struggling with anxiety and depression for years. He is prescribed Sertraline and stated that feels like this medication has worked. However, since being abstinence he was in a different mindset and felt a lot better in himself as his mind was clearer

Joey would attend appointments with his partner, and both his mother and partner were supportive of him becoming abstinent.

Joey does have friends that use, however he has been trying to avoid going out with them to reduce the risk of relapsing

Employment

He is self-employed in construction, he stated that he becomes stressed when he gets pestered all the time when he is not at work. Joey turned his phone off when he was away as he did not want to ruin his holiday, which is a huge deal for him as he stated that he has never done such a thing before.
